About Me

Early in my career, after earning my M.Ed. from UVM, I worked as a classroom educator, district PLC leader, and a coach for multiple sports for MMUSD. When my own children were younger, I worked as a Literacy Instructor at Stern Center and then grew my own tutoring center, Vermont Learning Lab, which specialized in literacy and complex presentations. My favorite part of that work was helping rebuild the voice and confidence of students who had been harmed by schooling systems. This work spurred my interest in shifting over to the counseling realm.

As I pursued an M.S. in Counseling from UVM, I also served as the Director of Student Services for Vermont Commons School, and then moved into a role as CVSD’s Clinical Lead for the district wide behavioral programming.

I’ve also worked as an LCMHC in a physician’s clinic and private practice for the past few years, specializing mostly in chronic medical conditions, learning disabilities, family systems, anxiety (inc. OCD) and eating disorders.

I love that the SEL and Equity Coordinator position allows me to merge my two passions, education and mental health/equity, while working with such a large and incredible team of passionate and capable individuals.

In my free time I dedicate time and determination to going pro at Pickleball and cherish hanging out with my two phenomenal teenage daughters.
