Feeding Student Bodies So the Only Thing

They Are Hungry For Is Knowledge

ALL SCHOOL MEALS ARE FREE for ALL STUDENTS

Universal School Meals in Vermont - EVERY STUDENT, EVERY DAY, EVERY SCHOOL!!

School Meals are a right not a privledge.

School Meals

Breakfast is available to all students as they arrive at school.  Breakfast kiosks are positioned at all school entrances so students in elementary and high school can grab something to keep them going for the school day. Students are welcome to eat their breakfast right away or save it for a snack just a bit later in the morning.

At our elementary schools, students have a choice of a Main Entree, a Vegetarian Entree, or an Alternate meal (Bagel and Cream Cheese or a PBJ or Sunbutter and Jelly Sandwich) all with lots of vegetables, fruit and milk.

Most of our schools have Fresh, Fruit and Veggie bars as well.

For High School lunch there are many choices daily including a homemade hot entree, an alternate meal, a signature sandwich, vegetarian options, grab and go items and a full salad bar.

All school meals meet USDA meal pattern for a healthy meal which includes protein, whole grain, a variety of vegetables weekly, fruit, and milk.  On serving lines students are presented with all five meal components and will choose at least three (or all five)  to make a complete and well balanced meal including a "must-have" vegetable or a fruit.

Feel free to contact us with questions.  See our meal menus on the menu page of this website.

Please keep in touch.  We want to hear from you about your experience with school meals. We are work very hard to make all of our programs meet the needs of student so let us know how we are doing.
