MAUSD offers preschool for children ages 3–5 in two classrooms at Bristol Elementary School. These programs are open to families in Bristol, Monkton, New Haven, and Starksboro. Both full-day and half-day options are available and follow the school-year calendar. Visit our website to learn more.
Enrollment Information:
- School-based preschool enrollment typically opens in March.
- An interest survey will be shared when enrollment opens.
- Spaces fill quickly, so families are encouraged to apply early.
- Due to limited availability, families should also consider local private programs.
Partnerships with Community Preschools:
MAUSD provides tuition support through Act 166 for children to attend a pre-qualified preschool in the community. The district will fund up to 10 hours per week for 35 weeks at approved partner programs. Visit our website to learn more.
